Child

Taken

From her land

Uprooted

Exposed

Transplanted

Roots

Dug up

Turned over

Fresh

Innocent

Still

Uncovered

Unloved

Unprotected

Unstable

Tossed

To

The other side…

Of a country

Of an ocean

Of the tracks

Of the fence

Beginning

Blooming

Becoming

The strong pine

Sixty-five feet

Accompanied

By birds in sky

She has become a wonder.

A man with an ax

Tries

Gives up

She continues to grow

Giving hope

To others

Rise

Freely

On the land

Which you stand

Wherever

Whenever

Whatever

Happens

Just Stand

Planted

On the land

Until time

To

Re

Trans

Plant

Again.
