A recap of Spring Showcase: The Art of Worcester

On Wednesday April 10, the New Worcester Spy, along with creative writing/art club INK and the Urban Studies Department, hosted Spring Showcase: The Art of Worcester.

Backdropped by Lancer’s Loft, the showcase highlighted works connected to Worcester. Students from all over campus submitted various mediums of art including drawings, paintings, collages, embroidery, and photographs.

The Spring Showcase was an excellent opportunity for students to share their creative abilities. The event was well attended and guests enjoyed learning about each other’s perspectives and interpretations of the city of Worcester.
